Michele Wolpe

Michele brings nearly two decades of senior level internal communication experience to ROI from her time with Barclays Global Investors, Charles Schwab, DHL Worldwide Express, Silicon Graphics and The Walt Disney Company. She is passionate about helping companies and leaders succeed through strategic, timely and open employee communications as well as leadership coaching.

With ROI, Michele has assisted Hewlett Packard in the launch of a web-based, innovation space for collaborators worldwide. Also at HP, she has also conducted research and benchmarking to help develop leadership and manager communication plans. As an executive coach for leaders at PG&E, First Merit Bank of Ohio, The Walt Disney Company and many nonprofits, Michele has focused, variously, on leadership style, effectively managing others, communication management and planning, as well as work-life balance issues.

Fluent in French and Spanish, Michele brings an international perspective to each project. Much of her career has been focused on creating global communication solutions for international companies. For many large corporations, she has helped to design and launch internal communication functions. At both Barclays and Walt Disney she developed a strong background in intranet communications, Development and management after helping to launch intranets at both companies. Her intranet work has earned awards from several organizations and she has been a featured speaker with multiple professional communication and training organizations.

A member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the Council of Communication Management, Michele is also a certified coach and has completed the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara’s professional coaching program. 

Michele attended the University of California, Davis and the American Graduate School of International Management, in Glendale, Arizona where she received a master's degree in International Management.
