Jennifer Tuck

Jennifer brings substantial experience in internal communications to ROI, including many years of experience from the public and private sectors.

Jennifer specializes in defining comprehensive corporate communications platforms incorporating key internal and external stakeholders, designing public relations programs around issues with public policy implications and communicating with elected officials and working with the news media to achieve solid story coverage for clients.

Prior to joining ROI, Jennifer held positions at Solem & Associates and Ketchum Public Relations. She also facilitated the successful growth of Silicon Valley’s first political organization, Technology Network. As the organization’s Deputy Political Director, she was responsible for ongoing relationship-building efforts bringing together leading Silicon Valley CEOs with state and federal elected officials. As a media relations expert, in July 2005, Jennifer achieved extensive in-depth media coverage across television, radio and print news outlets for the west coast’s "King of the Bay" kiteboarding competition.

Before moving to the Bay Area, Jennifer was a press secretary and broadcast producer on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. As chief spokesperson for the Senate Commerce Committee, she worked closely with national and state media on pending legislation, congressional hearings and all other public relations activity relating to the committee’s six subcommittees. Notably, she managed crisis communications with the media surrounding the aviation tragedies of ValuJet Flight 592 in the Florida Everglades and TWA Flight 800 off New York’s harbor. Also on Capitol Hill, Jennifer served as broadcast producer for the Senate leadership writing a television show for Senate cable TV.

Jennifer received a B.A. in Communications from the University of California at San Diego.
