Tina is well-versed in the design and
execution of change communication and organizational development
initiatives. Tina has developed and implemented communication
training programs, counseled top leaders and executives on the
use of effective communication and developed a model for
effective communication which integrates aspects of
communication, learning and performance. Most notably, she has
executed a series of fast-acting, fact-based employee and
organizational assessment programs, providing corporate leaders
the information necessary to design, launch and sustain
effective communication, learning and development and
organizational change initiatives.
She brings to the table a strong academic background in
behavioral and cognitive psychology, focusing on how people
organize and access information, and how groups interact in
problem-solving and information management activities. This work
provides the foundation for bringing innovative and
action-oriented programs into the corporate arena.
Tina has worked with several internal and change management
consultancies for clients including Delta Air Lines, Deloitte &
Touche, Ernst & Young, Georgia Pacific, Pharmacia Corporation,
The New York Times, The World Bank, Washington Metropolitan Area
Transit Authority, and Young & Rubicam.
Tina has also published in a variety of
academic/professional journals and books on topics related to
problem solving, knowledge acquisition and application, and
group learning and performance. She has also served as a
professor of cognitive and developmental psychology. Currently,
she is an advisor to, and member of the board of directors for,
the healthcare data management company, Advanced Health
Management Systems.
Tina earned her doctorate in developmental
psychology at Cornell University, specializing in cognitive
development. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and
education from Dartmouth College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.
