Ellen Rose

Ellen has extensive communication experience, including work in internal communications, branding, marketing, event management, community relations, and public relations.  She has worked in a diverse range of industries including healthcare, the arts, and nonprofit social service agencies.

Most recently, Ellen spent seven years at ALZA Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson company, where as Director of Corporate Communications. She acted as a strategic partner to the executive team in internal communication, brand development, corporate vision, and cultural transition.

Ellen began consulting in 2005 and has worked with a variety of clients on the development and tactical implementation of strategic communication programs.  She has created and managed large-scale organizational change activities, including mergers and acquisitions, executive communication programs, issues management and crisis communication programs, and strategic HR communications.

Ellen earned a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University.  She currently serves as a volunteer on the project team for The Missing Peace: The Dalai Lama Portrait Project, an international art exhibition and education program launched in 2006.
