Karen Faber is
an accomplished marketing, communications and business development professional,
with over 20 years of experience in the creation of successful campaigns in
these diverse fields. She has a strong background in both corporate and
non-profit organizations, and provides ROI's clients with the ability to work
successfully in a variety of environments, even in the most demanding and
stressful of situations.
As a
communications professional, Karen has experience in launching first-of-its-kind
programs, as well as communicating complex changes and issues to diverse and
challenging audiences. At ROI, she has assisted companies such as Chevron, PG&E,
Adobe, Lam Research and Applied Biosystems with both internal and external
communication strategies, event and project management and IT transformation. Karen's experience also
covers such areas as corporate and executive communications, content
partnerships, focus groups, acquisitions, negotiations, branding, and media
relations. She has also been instrumental in the development of strategic
collateral and advertising (print, outdoor, radio, email, online).
Karen has experience in forging partnerships in the energy, high tech and
entertainment industries, as well as with government entities. Prior to joining
ROI, she worked with such organizations as, Sun Microsystems, Lawrence Livermore
National Laboratory, Sony, Nickelodeon, MTV, AOL, Universal Music, Yahoo,
match.com, iVillage, and Applied Materials.
Karen holds a BA degree in Liberal Arts from the University of California,
Berkeley.
