A communication
professional with multi-faceted experience, Christine’s career spans event
planning, media relations, and the editing and management of companywide
publications.
For Hewlett
Packard. Christine helped organize and oversee a senior leadership meeting which
drew 200 top company leaders to a single event in California. At Chevron, she
served as managing editor for an internal communication newsletter which, during
her tenure, received industry accolades. Also at Chevron, she has been engaged
as an executive speechwriter and helped coordinate media coverage of the
company’s NASCAR sponsorship, through its Texaco arm.
Christine
joined ROI Communication from her role as Communication Manager for Make A
Difference in Phoenix, Arizona. In that capacity, she implemented new branding
initiatives for the non-profit, doubled fundraising opportunities and
facilitated strategic partnerships in the community. While in Phoenix, Christine
worked with the Department of Emergency Management of Arizona and local agencies
to provide communication and logistical support for the intake of 500 evacuees
after Hurricane Katrina.
With AmeriCorps
in the City of Tempe, she implemented a grass-roots campaign: "Don’t Wait to
Educate" with the support of a national non-profit called Communities In
Schools. She has also worked in the Media Relations office of the Sacramento
Kings, the Business Development Office of Clear Channel Communications in
Syracuse, New York, and helped organize fashion shows for a boutique athletic
wear company for women in Scottsdale, Arizona.
A graduate of
the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University,
Christine holds a B.A in Public Relations and is active with her alumni chapter.
